Making Earth Day Work Is Harder Than You Think

As Earth Day approached, I was concerned that I was kicking up a huge carbon footprint while I traveled all over the place helping people figure out how to reduce their carbon footprint.
So I decided to try really hard to have a small carbon footprint for a week. I didn't do too badly – I drove 18 miles in four days and 34 miles in five days. But as you can read in my Ventura City Council blog, http://www.fulton4ventura.blogspot.com/, it wasn't that simple. In the end, I went on a brief carbon diet – between two carbon binges.
Oh well.
