Redwood City Can Transfer Redevelopment Housing Funds

The state can’t take away more than $12 million in redevelopment funds that Redwood City deposited in a low- and moderate-income account as a result of a legal settlement with the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, even though many of the funds were not earmarked for specific projects.
