Senate Housing Package Dies On Legislature's Last Night

The last major piece of the Senate’s housing production package failed to make it to the governor’s desk last night when SB 1120, the duplex bill, passed the Assembly by three votes – but ran out of time before it could be sent back to the Senate for concurrence. Some said the bill would have passed the Senate easily but that Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon held up the re-referral.
